The Twisted Hop Cask Beer
Cask beer is brewed in the traditional English manner at The Twisted Hop Brewery. Using Canterbury malt and New Zealand hops, the beer undergoes its final fermentation in the cask [firkin]. Dispensed by hand-pump directly from the cask, the beer is fresh and alive at the time of serving to produce a creamy head that will last to the bottom of the glass. The carbonation is entirely natural being a by-product of the ongoing fermentation. Cask beer is served between 10-12°C.
